Cradley Heath-based forklift distributor, Amvar Handling Solutions Ltd has moved to a modern facility after 7 years at their old premises in Lye.The company has also secured a major deal with TCM Forklift.
The move to the 7000 sq. feet building will allow Amvar to operate more efficiently, with an improved workshop and office layoutto optimise growth. By remaining local the company has been able to retain its strong links with customers and suppliers.
As part of the strategic plan around the move, Amvar has also been appointedauthorised dealer for TCM forklifts in the West Midlands. Amvar is the only TCM authorised dealer in the region and offers the full range of gas, diesel and electric forklift trucks and warehouse handling equipment including powered pallet trucks and reach trucks.
TCM are a Japanese company, renowned leaders in the logistics industry and actually designed and manufactured Japans first forklift truck. They are part of Unicarriers Group, following a merger between Nissan Forklift, TCM and Atlet in 2011.
Amvar Handling Solutions, founded in 1998, have vast experience in the materials handling equipment industry in providing solutions to handling, lifting, warehouse, and workplace and storage problems. Amvar has set its sights on doubling its turnover in the next threeto fouryears and is looking to recruit new people during this exciting period for the company.
