Cembre Limited, based in Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands, manufactures specialist electrical components and installation tools.
As a result of a recent exercise to replace one of its forklift trucks and to find a new service provider, Cembre Limited chose Amvar Handling Solutions over a number of other potential suppliers.
Rob Smith, Production Manager at Cembre and his Managing Director Ben Davies visited several companies to review facilities. They were both very impressed with the organisation, structure and operating methods at Amvar Handling Solutions in Lye, Stourbridge.
Following a satisfactory demonstration, Cembre purchased a new Artison model FG25 gas counterbalance forklift truck, which was delivered in October 2011. Cembre have found this machine to be ideal for their application and very well accepted by operators. At the same time Amvar Handling Solutions was appointed preferred service provider for the rest of the handling fleet.
In January this year, Cembre had an urgent need for an electric truck on hire for a new application. Amvar Handling Solutions was once again able to help with a new truck delivered within days of this request.
